Default How excited were you?

So, I found a used S2K finally. Picking her up Thursday. She's a 2005 Red with 21k miles CPO car. Gonna name her Ginger (My 09 Accord V6 Coupe/Navi is Traci ).

How excited were you in the days before your purchase/pickup? I'm so crazed right now I can barely contain myself. I can't wait for Thursday! Already have a brand new torque wrench and Service Manual , and a list of mods a mile long including the SOS kit.

31 years old, and I feel like a kid 2 days before Christmas!

Honestly... i wasn't lol. I was trading my 2002 maxima in to get out of it cuz i wanted a different car...bought it for my ex and broke up..long story..

anyways.. I never looked into the s2k at all... i went to the dealership looking for a g35. but because of the neg equity on my maxima that had to be rolled onto the new car, the new car had to hide it. the s2k was the only car on the lot that could.

So i took it.. and felt the most Torqueless thing ever...

Learned to drive it... Then turboed it...twice lol...

and now i'm happy

but initially.. nope lol

I was a nervous wreck up until the moment I drove away with the car. But once she was mine, you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I was screaming and fist pumping like a 13 year old boy all the way home that first day. I still smile every time I sit down in my S.

I was heartbroken, ended up with a second hand S after the first wife and her legal team cleaned me out; took the Carrera GT, house on the beach and even the dog.

A second hand S is better than a Carrera GT anyway

I was 45 when I got my new '05. My emotions when I picked it up?

excited when I made out the check ($29.8k + T&L)...

thrilled when I first sat my butt down behind the wheel...

puzzled when the car didn't turn over...

pissed when they sold me a car that 6 miles on the odo and a dead battery...

embarassed when I remembered the START button...
