Default How far have you been on empty

Just wondering how far everyone has pushed it. I have probably gone like 10 miles from hitting empty cause im unsure of it. Im guessing that empty means thats there is maybe a little less than a gallon?

Also just wondering what gear/rpm do you cruise at like 45mph?

You mean when the gas light comes on? I've probably gone 25 miles or so. I was on a highway doing about 60. I think when the light comes on there is about 2 or 3 gallons left; could be wrong though.

Based on the times I've happened to fill up just when the light comes on, I estimate that I have 40 more miles to go once the light comes on.

I've gone without any bars for about 5-7 miles, but when I would turn the car on, it would have trouble idling, and would bog a bit while driving. The idle-bogging went away after I filled up. I felt like the car was starving for gas. Just my experience!

I've run the car dry before. I would say this figure is about right for highway driving. The fuel gauge sucks.

When I installed my walbro I put it on wrong and the gas guage stopped going down after the gas light went on(it was hitting the fuel pickup) and I drove probably 50-60 miles before it started bogging and I realized the gas guage stopped going down.

I find that when all the bars are gone that the tank has 2 more gallons because we have a 13 gallon tank and i always seem to fill only 11 gallons.

I've gone about 10 miles with no bars on regular roads going about 55 in 6th. My friend said he's gone about 26 before on the freeway.

Once I have no bars left I have has as much as 10 -15 liters left in the gas tank so I say I could probably get another 100 km
