I think everyone is saying that it is a bad question.

It relies on a million different variables, some of which are absolutely critical (tires, weight, temperature, road surface, suspension geo...) and is something that can only be answered by feel and experience.

GO AUTOX! It's cheap, fun and pretty easy on the car.

(nobody here wants to say you can do it at 33.874 mph and then have you punt it and blame it on the internets)
Now that's an answer that makes sense. . .was wondering why no one wanted to "answer the question". . .bad question.

37mph normally.

49mph if there are small children around and I want them to think I'm cool.

HAHA. . .actually when I'm on my SV650 is when I get the kids that are "wowed" by the bike. . .always give them a little throttle blip and a nod or wave to increase their thrill factor . . .

but so far no kid has been "wowed" by the s2k yet.

I was totally stuck at 38mph for a long time. With some practice, I am now at 42mph. I'm hoping to break the 45mph mark with some better shifting skillz.

And I drive by engine sound and vision most of the time. I don't look at the speedo or tach around corners.
