I striped my model S2000 to see what it might look like on my Sebring with black stripes. To me it takes away from the good lines of the car so I decided against it. Have someone do a photoshop for you in your colors.

For any decals/vinyls, check out decalgirl.com. They own an S2000 and a new '04 NSX. RyanITV is one of their screennames! Good peeps!

Hey all, I got it!

Thanks to StormBringer for recommending Modern Image to do it. They did a great job. As a bonus, Enrico, who was my contact person there, owns an S2000!

The do clear bras, too, but I don't have the $$ for that right now.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the San Diego area.

These pics were taken after 2 coats of Zaino Z5 were put over them. It really helped them blend in and look like they belong on the car. The top coat of Z2 is going on tomorrow. You might notice I got some black license plate hole plugs from http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04.html for the front.

Thanks for the advice, guys!

How long did it take? Is it something you can wait for?

Also, how much did it cost?

I dropped it off on the way to work. Enrico at Modern Image was kind enough to drive me to work (I work about 2 miles away). I came back after work, and waited a bit (they were busy that day) and it was done.

I brought it back the next day so they could check it out after it sat in the sun all day. The sun makes the little bubbles go away. It was all good, and that was it.

I paid $320 and change.

I was able to watch them do a bit, and I must say, it looked like a major pain in the ass. I'm glad I didn't try to do it myself.

They took the zaino off. They had some troubles. Apparently zaino's claim that nothing sticks to it is true!

the question is... WHY ??? WHY woudl you want to try so hard to make your car look like a damn viper???

that money can be better spent on mods that make your car actually faster than to put some stripes that destroys the beautiful lines of the S.... why why why???

should have gone for white stripes. Black does not look good against red, IMO
