I drove from Dallas to San Francisco and back once. Top down except for when it was frickin' cold. Ear plugs were a great help.

On drives over an hour or so, the windows go up. Short blasts on the highway at 80mph or so, it's not an issue.

when i test drove my car, we took it onto the fwy... sales guy turns up the radio, saying "lets turn up the tunes man!"

i was like, "bitch turn that shit off, lets hear the engine scream"

ok i didnt call the guy a bitch, but thats what i was thinking

I can sympathize with you; I mean, I can't talk on my cell phone and I have to have the music turned up way loud just to barely hear it. Usually though, when I have the top down, I am focused on the drive and not the music/phone.

I'm sure most convertibles are like that though.

i always put the windows up on the highway... but yea... there's no convertible on earth that's not gonna mess up your hair on the highway...
