How the hell do you guys do it?
I'd been looking for S2000s for a long time. They're amazing looking cars and drive even better. Of course, being here, we all know that.
So whats my problem? I can't keep out of the damn drivers seat. I have a daily driver, but I hate driving it now. I say Im not going to take the S to work... and yet I do.
I've had the car one week and have put over 1000 miles on it. I'd say 95% of those have been top down miles.... regardless, its great.

I had the same problem. After about 3 or 4 months I made myself not drive it everyday. It helped to find excuses not to drive it. Like it might rain today. Not driving it through the week makes it much more nice to put the top down on the weekends and cruise. Its a tough addiction.

Doesn't seem like a problem to me.
The A-pillar trim got nicked slighty the other day and I was freaking out... Trying to keep up with keeping this car mint is going to drive me insane...
Why can't stuff just stay new?

Life's too short to worry about it. If thats what gives you enjoyment and satisfaction every day, then go for it. If it bothers you that your putting so many miles on your car - you can always buy a mint used S2000 down the road, and keep that as your "garage queen".
These cars were meant to be driven - enjoy!
The longer I abstain from driving it, the more rewarding it is. I obsessed over getting one for over a year. I get the car and after a week straight of driving it, I retired it to the garage for weekends/special events only. It is a bitch though... I do fiend for it every day.
The S is my dd also...Living only a few miles from work, I managed to put 40.000km on the clock in 2 years
Nowadays I do not feel that urge anymore to take it out and VTEC it. It does happen, but *not all of the time* anymore
Maybe I'm getting old
