Thumbs up How to install clear sidemarker ?

Just got my clear sidemarker from Rick's. No instruction. So do you just pop the old one out with small flat crewdriver ? Anything precaution I should take so not to scratch the paint ? Thanks.

If you go to Rick's website he has step by step instructions, very very easy and quick. Took me about 3 mins.

In brief, DON"T USE A SCREW DRIVER. Just push it either forward or backward depending upon which way it is installed and the oposite end can then be popped out. Look at the new side marker and you will see which side of the housing compresses.

Thanks for the quick response. When to Rick's follow the instruction. It's done and look awsome.

when i saw this i had to reply...
but shedrivesit has exactly what i was gonna say.

keep screwdrivers away from the paint! the sidemarkers really come off easily (it is surprising that folks dont steal them!)- its a pop-off, disconnect- connect the new ones and kinda snap in sorta deal.
as above, ricks has the details- but its really easy.

For those that have installed the clear sidemarker lights - what's your overall opinion of the looks compared to the stock amber ones? Are they as bright as the stockers?
