Me Likey on my Silverstone. The chrome bulb is a nice touch--tough to find them when they're not included.

They look just great on a GPW, and they flash bright amber like they ought to. This is a great mod and I could not be more pleased. I found the instructions at Ricks to be not quite correct but close enough to get me going. For the first one I thought that I would have to use a screwdriver but I finally got a fingernail under it and it came right out. Then I spent a while making sure I had the right side, etc. I did the second one in under a minute.

I contacted Ricks just recently and he said he is out of stock on these until January I want this to be my first mod done since I have bought the S. I think they look great. I would also get the headlight clearlights if they where only easier to install....

It appears some are supplied with bulbs that appear white/silver, but light up amber, as you describe. But others (may) simply come with amber bulbs. Is this true? I think the former would look the best.

I think the clear look better on all the S's regardless of the color.

Some do come with silver bulbs that light up amber and some just come with the amber like our stocks. I am going to get the iced tip bulbs. It is just personal opinion.

Definitely. An orange bulb behind a clear sidemarker defeats the purpose of the mod.

It look great on my Laguna. The bulb from Rick's is silver in color but light up orange when u turn the blinker on. Probably the best/ cheapest $25 mod on the S that why I install it within 10 days of owing the car. Hell I ordered the bulb before the car even arrived at the dealer.
