How to install JDM honda badges?
Here you go:

I also recommend using 3M adhesive remover to get the old adhesive off (I got the 3M stuff from West Marine).

The rear is easy. Just follow the instruction above.
The front is harder to remove. I was not able to remove it in one piece. I used the string as instructed to loosen the emblem. I then slid old credit cards under and around the emblem then pull the emblem up firmly. You will most likely break it. Without the credit cards, you may scratch the bumper.

On my '04, the front OEM badge popped off a lot easier than the rear.
I had heard rumors on this board of a new front nut design that would have to be cut off, but it took only moderate pulling effort and the securing nuts that were originally present were missing when the badge came loose.

I replaced my 04 badges with JDM. Rear badge was easy with 3M adhesive remover and floss. Front badge....what a pain! 3M with floss will only get you so far. The new locking push on
"washers" needed to be cut off using small wire snips. I had a mirror propped up in the correct viewing angle with a flashlight to see what was going on. Once I got onto the post with the snips it was relatively easy.
My suggestion: get out a mirror and look at the underside of the badge you have on the car. If you have the locking washers, do what I did. I knew nothing about it until I could no longer feel my fingers from trying to pull off the original badge.
I ordered 2 more locking washers from the dealer to secure my JDM after I installed it. Opinions vary on whether you need these or just need the adhesive on the badge. After shelling out $$ for these from Australia, I decided they were not going to be ripped off. I put a piece of tape around my index finger and stuck the washer to it, then felt for the post and pushed it on. Easy.
Good Luck!

I could not save the washers. I paid about $2 and waited 3 days for them from the parts dept.
I got my badges from Muz. They seemed to be close to the same size.
One more thing...I had to push the rear badge from the plastic posts (different fastner) behind the sheet metal to get it to come off. Pretty simple to do. It wouldn't exactly fall off with just 3M and floss!
Have fun...and don't get frustrated with the locking press washer if you have them (most likely).....patience. Little snips = your best friend!
