How to: install killswitch?
I had this done to my integra. I don't know if this is an option to you but I took it to a pretty reputable independent car stereo guy where I live. For 60 bucks plus parts it was in. Best part was it was undetectable and activated by a wireless key fob. I liked it and it never failed while i owned it.
I know this is not a DIY solution but I felt comfortable with this guy doing it since it is all he did all day. In fact he put in an auto starter for a friend's accord that worked pretty damn good too.
anyway this was a long winded way to say if you unsure, very little money can get a pro to do it.
Just something to consider...Good luck

the fanciest one i seen was a friends buddies IS300 .. which in the center just below the shifter was a keypad.. you had to enter a code before starting the car.. thats awesome.. next would be install an finger print and eye scanner before starting the car..
There's a guy selling the fingerprint scanner over on the m3forums, it's quite a high tech piece.
Not very popular for most of the car forum though because though the idea is novel and good, the risk of it failing can always leave you stranded with the high tech stuff.
Personally I'd rather have nothing and just be smart about where you park.

i have a kill switch in my car and its cool, hasnt given me any problems. its the one with chip key. without it the engine start button wont start the car. i can also take it out while in driving...the car doesnt die or anything. i think its pretty good as long as i dont lose the key
