My suggestion is to swap your current bulbs and see if you have the same problem. That way you will know which one (bulb/ballast) is gone bad.

***UPDATE***

Just to put a finishing touch to this thread, I went ahead and ordered new philips bulbs from Akinaboy Link on E-Bay. Best price I could find ($86.49) and free shipping for name brand bulbs.

Install went as expected, except for the darn torx screw that had the tamper proof nub in the middle. I have torx screwdrivers that are solid. This one requires a hollow end in the driver and I had to make a trip to Autozone to get it. Lesson learned and now I have a set for the next surprise - haha.

As always it helps to have some extra fender liner clips. The mortality rate is fairly high with these things and I killed 2 during the process. I had spares in the toolbox.

The new bulbs work like a charm.
