How long til 10,000 miles?
I just hit 10,000 miles on my 2001 S2K that I got on April 10th. So it took me just over 6 months to do so.
Do any other owners know how quickly they reached the 5 digit mark on miles?
Now that it's getting cold, Mine is going in the garage. I probably shouldn't put many more miles on it this year. I may hit 12,000 by the next April 10th.

I dunno when we could do another meet. I don't really have anything new to show since I got screwed on that hardtop. I also am going to be fairly busy for the next couple weekends with work related projects. I'dbe up for sumthin if I can fit it in.
Oh, and I just got a little crapper truck to drive around in for the winter, so my S is becoming a Garage Queen as well. I got the truck last week and I hadn't driven my S until last night. Wow, it's amazing how powerful the S feels after you've been out of it for a while and have been driving a 4-banger truck around!
It's actually renewed my love affair with driving it. I can't wait to get in it this weekend.

I bought mine April 6th. Today I have over 15000miles. I think I reached 10000 in Aug. This was supposed to be my "weekend" car, but I drive it everyday!
WOW, that's impressive. 5000 miles in only a couple months since you hit 10K. Where are you going with that car?
Got mine May 7th. My insurance company thinks it's my weekend car and is allowing me to put exactly 8k a year on it. I already have 12k miles. At this rate, I should have 30k miles in one year. Oops....
Here's the good side. I use it for occasional work travel, which is expensed at $.345/mile. If I can drive 96k miles for work, the car will pay for itself!!

And here's an even better question.
How do everyone's front ends look?
Mine looks fine at somewhat of a distance and most camera's can't pick up on the chips in the front, but I could probably use a front end repaint. I've got at least 3 or 4 descent sized divets from road rocks and other debris.
But I'll say this, the sides and rear of my car are like brand new. I've no door dings. If I have to park I do it as far away from signs of life as possible.

20,500 miles so far, bought mine beginning of February. Hit 10k in late July early in a 6000 mile roadtrip. Putting 500 miles a week on the car these days.
Aside from the bug remains, the front end seems to be holding up well. Only 2 chips come to mind, not noticable at all IMO.
Should've seen the front grill after the big trip. At one time on the trip I was reminded of those Science class experiments with metal filings and magnets <G>
