I've had the car for over 2 years and I haven't even reached 9K miles yet. I work from home, so I don't really drive the car that much.

My front end has a lot of chips in it from the freeway debris. It still looks good from afar, but I can point to all the spots that have chips.

I got mine on July 4th. I am about at 11.5K. I would have more, but it was in the shop for a month

As far a paint chips...I've stopped counting. No door dings, thankfully!

Well I think it will be hard to beat 43K in 16 months. How quickly do you think you got to 10K, like 3 months?

I just went over 10k on the way to work this morning. And I celebrated by taking the top down . This may not sound like much except it was very nippy this morning here in northern NJ. Temperature in the low 50s and very blustery but the sun is out. The heater keeps me very toasty. I've had my car since Nov of 2000.

The front end looks pretty good. The only significant blemish is a sizable chip on the windshield, right in front of my eye

Wow, 10K in a year. That shows some self-restraint. I hope I can keep it to 12-13K by my 1-year anniversary on April 10th 2002.

If I lived in a somewhat warm climate year round that would be impossible. But the midwestern winters should keep my S2K garaged most of the time until it warms up again.

I hit 10,000 in about 5 months. Hit 26,000 the first year and will have about 20,000 this year.
