Default how loud is the stock fuel pump supposed to be?

Hey guys, I bought this s2k last year (AP1) with a ton of mods. It's not my first highly modded car, and I'm a wrencher/tuner. I've been talking to the PO and the owner before him trying to figure out all the mods, but there is still some missing info from the owner before them. I'm wondering how loud the stock fuel pump is. I have 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back with no cat and I can easily hear the pump over the exhaust at idle and low rpms. It isn't crazy loud, just loud enough to hear the whine over my loud exhaust. Sounds about as loud as my Walbro in my Celica. Is this normal for stock or do I have an aftermarket pump?

Definitely think you have an aftermarket. I can't hear my fuel pump at all. Only when its priming.

I can hear my pump whine all the time, I have a greddy Ti-C dual exhaust. Pretty sure they can be very noisy.

And you are sure your pump is stock?
