I lowered mine an 1" 1/2 by just letting the air out of the tires! I seem to be having some handling problems though.

That's funny S2k Dallas. I am going outside to check for spacers right now. It seems that I may have another problem caused by the spacers. I was wondering if it's real hard to spot them and if they're there, can I take 'em out myself?

I'll let you guys know.

Not only is it horribly incompetent for the dealer to leave the spacers in, but it's DANGEROUS. Without any spring travel, the handling is totally different and probably not nearly as precise as without the spacers. Not to mention you are translating every single bump directly onto parts that were not meant to deal with this kind of jarring stress.

That really makes me mad that they could leave them in like that.

I found spring spacers on mine after driving my car for 300 miles or so. During delivery of the car, I asked twice whether the spacers were taken out and was assured that this was done. I called Elk Grove Honda here in CA to let them know that this was not done. To my amazement, they go 'what spring spacers?' and 'what are they?'. Unbelievable...

Check out your cars if you haven't yet...

i think the dealer left mine on b/c like i said... going over a tiny bump causes my car to shake way too much...
