I take back what I said , it could very possibly be my LSD . I know for a fact that it's my diffrential , it felt like someone with a hammer was hitting under my car ! It started with a ticking noise at very low Rpm and ended up with a loud clunk, clunk, clunk till I couldn't drive past 5mph no more . I will keep you guys updated as soon as I find out myself .

I have ACT PP , stock disc and comptech flywheel . Just happened yesterday , so I don't know what caused it yet .

Fastlane, just curious. When you finished the "accepted" break-in period of about 600-1000 miles, did you change out the diff fluid? When I changed mine out, there was quite a bit of metal shavings on the magnetic plug. There had to have been much more other debris still floating around in the fluid. This debris may contribute to LSD wear.

I'm about to do that!

Do you recommend replacing the fluid after 600 miles?

How long before I can track my car?

What kind of fluid did you use? Is synthetic (Redline) ok?

Thanks

Update- Just found out my whole rearend was wasted , except for the housing . Nothing left on the pinion gear and a few broken teeth on the ring . My LSD was wasted to , I think that's where the problem all started . I've owned the gears ever since 12/01 and the SCer 7/01 , maybe it was my time to start replacing beat-up parts . Well , time to build a stronger rearend I guess .

Hey Rick,

I got all the stuff except the install kit. I ordered new bolts too.

Can you call me? I have a question.
