Geee... I feel bad about not driving my S2K. Bought mine on Jan. 05 and currently the odometor showing 850 miles.

Ugh. It's a CAR, people! It only becomes valid if used. Just drive the ass out of it and forget what the clock says. You could have bought any car to sit in your driveway, you bought the S because it's fun to drive! Go hop in and put another few hundred on her right away!

Here's what you do:

You wake up in the middle of the night, around 2 or 3am, and sneak downstairs really quietly. Be sure not to wake the wife or kids. Tip-toe through the kitchen, and walk over to the garage door. Gently lean forward and place your ear up against the door. Careful now, don't make a sound. Do you hear it? Do you hear that muffled sound coming from your garage in the darkness of night?

Yup. That's your S2000 crying.

haha. when i saw my s2k was reaching high mileage (74K on the odo), i was in the mood to get a new car.

but i got over the "high mileage syndrom" as i call it. i thought if i want to keep the mileage low, it means not driving it, for what?! so i can retain the value of the car?

what value is there if i dont get out and enjoy why i bought it in the first place for.. now getting out on the streets and enjoying my car is a value that can never out weigh letting it sit, and let it attempt to "hold its value"

I bought mine back in Feb, and have to date logged 12,000 miles.

There's two periods on any given day where I feel larger than life:

1.) Driving to work
2.) Driving home from work.

few things...

I really like R32's...I think I want one!!!

The waking up at night bit is awesome..I go for midnight backroad highly spirited drives all the time!!! I never see cars on most roads in WV and NH so all you have to look for are deer! I it!

As far as driving too much...I've put on 10K miles in 4 months. 5K of those accumulated in 3 WV to NH round trips! I did them in under 10 hours though!!!!!!
