Default How many miles with a full tank ????

I don't know about you guys, but the best I've done so far is about 252 miles on a full tank, driving very easy (6th gear, freeway). Just curious to know about yours....

About 310 miles (city/highways). Just keep on driving it even though your gas bars has gone to zero. Don't worry, there' s plenty of gas lefted.

I usually get 300 mi. on average. Much of my driving is highway in 6th gear as well.

I would think you would get at least mid 20s mpg 6th gear freeway driving easy. 252 mi on 11-12 gal gas seems a bit low, unless you are filling up with about 10 gal.

I have been getting about 300 mi, 28-29 mpg with some city driving; this is after Spoon cai.

This reminds me of a curious trait my car exhibited on a recent road trip from New Jersey to New Hampshire, trip was about 350 miles total. I filled up before leaving, naturally, and hit the highways at around 10 PM, no spirited acceleration or VTECing, just trying to conserve fuel on the trip so I wouldn't have to gas up much on the way.

I was driving, and driving, and driving, and my fuel gage kept showing me full, all bars lit, it was very curious. I actually drove 86 miles before the first "bar" at the top of the scale went out! I know we've talked about strange behavior from our fuel gages before, but I honestly think I could've made the entire 350 miles on one tank, but I chickened out and stopped in MA anyway.

Anyone else experience this??

86 miles on the first bar ? My first bar always disappear the quickest. I've seen it gone in as few as 10, 15 miles. The middle bars seem to last the longest. I usually gas up at around 250 miles and that's with one or two bars left. I try not to let go much lower than that. I am pretty sure I can get 300 miles if I push it.

I usually only get between 200 and 240 to the tank but, I always only put like 9.5 gallons in so I fill up before it's empty. So theoretically if I let it go to completely empty and put in 12 gallons then I would be at just above 300.
