I only have one question. How can you go a whole tank of gas in this car and not Vtech at least 50% of the time?

I only have 3500 miles so I can't get in it without getting that VTech grin With top down Laugh'n at those Z3'ers

Gotta love it! BTW- never hit 300 miles on a tank yet........

Yeah, it seems about 300 miles is about all I can get out of a full tank on the highway, even with 35,000 miles on the S 2000.

Since 3/19/2001 (day I got the car new):

Total # of times refueled : 27
Total Galons refueled : 243.067 Galons
Minimum Galons : 3.554 Galons (lowest single data point)
Max Galons : 11.059 Galons
Max Range : 238 Miles (then having to refill 9.274 Gal, occured with mostly highway driving, aprox 170 Miles @ speeds in excess of 70MPH, and lots of VTEC'ing)
Average Galons refueled : 9.0025 Galons

Odometer reading at last refuel on 10/03 was 4960 Miles.

Someone told me once that going too low on the fuel level would affect your fuel pump and or injectors in the long run? since it would allow whatever residue/particles is in the bottom of the tank to go through the system? just wondering........

352 miles and I still had more than a gallon left in the tank.

Read about it in the article that was just added to the main s2ki site.

My first tank of gas..on the way home from picking up my car, I got 540 km, which is ohh.....about 337 odd miles with one bar left. Mind you, that was without revving the engine past 4000rpms, and consequently a lot of driving in sixth.
On average, I tend to get anywhere from 450-500kms (280-320 miles) on a full tank of gas.
Anyone know exactly how much of a range we have once the last bar on the gauge disapperars?

I've never gotten 200 miles per tank. I don't even push my car as hard. One time, I filled up my tank completly and decided to drive as economical as I could for this whole tank. I only pushed the gas pedal in about an inch, and shifted at 4,500 everytime. I still was only able to manage about 200 miles. My driving consists of all city, could it be thats why I'm getting such bad mileage? Honestly though, gas is killing me with this car. And my gas gauge is weird, it never shows my tank to be full, always atleast one bar is gone even right when I fill it up.

A very big range depending in driving conditions.. just over 100 miles at the track, over 200 in the city, and well over 300 on the highway (I think I have seen ~350).
