how mint is your S2k?
My car was mint when I got it three years ago. Every mark is a memory. Like the time that piece of pavement nicked the hood on the way to the windshield. Or the time that **** with a weed wacker didn't pause for me to drive by and a piece of dirt hit my driver fender. Or the time I didn't put my windshield wipers down to lift the hood and I stayed mad at myself all week. And every micro-swirl is one loving car wash too many without polish.
In regards to the topic, I had an 01 NFR AP1 with 6,300 miles on it but I sold it for my current 06 Rio AP2 with 40k on it. The AP1 was so mint I felt like I couldn't even enjoy it from fear of a rock chip while driving it or to even mod it and alter it from stock. My Rio is still minty considering the 40k miles however!
Picked up the 2008 in Houston this past weekend. The father-in-law bought it in June 2008 and decided he didn't want it any longer after not driving it over the past 18-20 months. Always garaged. The odometer showed 8904 miles when we picked it up. I did the guy a favor and took it off his hands...
Started our 1700 mile journey to LA the next morning. Passed the 10,000 mile mark somewhere just west of Tucson.
So my FIL spent 7 years driving 8900 miles and my son and I added another 20% of the miles in 1 1/2 days.
