Just wondering how hard you guys drive your cars and how much they can take. Can it handle redline shifts at least once during a daily drive to work or stuff like that. Ive been babying mine since i got it and im gonna start having some fun with it now that maintence is up to speed.

I like how 5 minutes ago you were the guy posting videos... all concerned about his engine noise, all caring and such.

I was like, "Hmmm. Sounds just like my engine. This guy must really care about his car."

LOL

As long as its warmed up and you dont over rev, you're good. The car was designed for this.

While I don't take mine to 9 all the time, I do generally drive it like it should be driven.

Just think about it, why would a conservative, smart company like honda build something with a redline it wasn't meant to have? Burn that shit up, just dont over-rev or miss-shift and your good boss

you can't over rev it anyway. if you actually take it all the way up to the redline the rev-limiter automatically backs off the throttle and won't allow you to go any higher. not that i'm bouncing it off the rev-limiter every day but i get as close as i can!

redline from a higher gear and "accidentally" downshift then come back to this thread tell us if you over revved or not.
