Man its crazy how reliable these cars really are. I havent heard one thing from any s2k owner about anything breaking anything just mainteanence and things like tct going out. i think im gonna start enjoying the car even more now. Ive been babying it a little less. I am definitely going through those phases skkppy said lol

Tons of autox, been on the rev limiter numerous times, 118k miles, using Amsoil on the Amsoil heavy use drain interval for all the fluids, and the only issue was a blown diff from me being a tard and not lifting while getting wheel hop on wet pavement, and the usual CV joint pitting.

I just worry about the diff. so I don't ever launch my car. Once I get into 2nd gear though it's on

I have done approximately 500 launches on R-compound tires without a problem. In fact, when I retired the car from autocross duty last year, I sold a spare diff and axles that I never used.

lol, drive it like you stole it. just maintain it and it will last. i think most good s2000 owners go through similar phases, i know this is how it was for me: 1. buy the car and be infatuated for at least a month with it. 2. see or read something that makes you realize engine the noise. 3. freak out and think if you drive hard he car will break. 4. ask other owners about the noisiness 5. find out your car is normal 6. acceptance
--> acceptance...lol

7k and dump the clutch. Leave the line with the tires spinning.
