I'm in NC, USA. Looking to buy a 03 S2K in the next 30 days. I know the car has limited avaliablitiy in USA (10,000 produced a year for USA, compared to ~300,000 Accords). Just want to know what some of the owners in here brought their cars for so I can use the responses as a referance source for my negociation.

i think invoice is around 28K. i got mine back in '99 with the "market adjustment" so my price won't be helpful. you might check with airgate, the moderator of the nc forum. he has an eye for good prices in nc area.

Putaz, I am in the exact same situation you are. I noticed that you are just 5 months older than I am. Do you go to school here (Raleigh)? I too am looking for a new S2000 (preferably white) around here, but am willing to fly somewhere and drive it home. I probably won't purchase one until mid May however. I have not been to any of the local dealerships lately. I know that Crown Honda in Chapel Hill has a Silverstone(i think) right now. They almost always order Silverstone, Sebring, or Black. The manager told me they don't get any other color unless a customer orders it. What color are you looking for? I will keep my eyes open and post here again if I see anything.

It might be helpful for those who post "out the door" prices, to list the sales tax rate they paid. Can make over a $2K difference from a high tax to no tax state.

look for somewhere around 31-32k OTD. that's a good price considering the time of year. 5% tax.
