I am thinking of doing a custom color, and I was curious what kind of prices you guys paid to have your cars painted, and what color. i understand that certain colors will cost more than others, and that I probably don't want to pay a guy named Bubba with a mullet and a can of Dupont high gloss paint do it. Anyone?

 

well i havent had my s painted but i did have my accord show car painted a Lexus white with house of colors ice white and ice blue pearl. the car was keyed, and had a new front bumper molded on (the accord had a JDM ITR headlight conversion but my old bumper shattered) and molded the side skirts and rear bumper. I paid $3300 which was also the cheapest estimate i got. It came out beautiful. Def. the best custom white color (aside from championship white ) i have ever seen. anyway, hope that helps you a little!!

 

mob works does VERY good jobs painting cars.

 

Good paint jobs start at 3 grand.
If you want House of Kolor paint (the absolute finest), then double that + 1K more if you want it to nearly match the quality of the factory paint job.
