How much do dealers get new S2000's for
Invoice minus dealer hold back.
I saw in your other thread that you were offered between 29-29,995 for the car before TT&L. Why didn't you take that? How much better of a deal do you think you are going to find? What's a few hundred dollars anyhow when you are buying a 30k car? Are you expecting to break in to the 27k range because that aint going to happen?

no I am not expecting it to be any lower than that. I would have taken it but they didn't have the color I really want. That and I need to sell my GSR before I can buy that. I am waiting on my bro to come up with the money, hopefully he can have it soon.
$29,785 minus holdback (3% of Base MSRP=32600) = $28,807.
Plus whatever hidden incentives there are to dealers which used to be common late in the year, but don't know now.
For similar future queries, go to any of:
Edmunds.com
consumerguide.com
kbb.com
carsdirect.com
All have info on invoice pricing as well as reviews.

I agree....you should have taken the deal you were offered. It's hard to get the S talked down in price. I was lucky and paid $100 oer invoice for mine. Then again, I went through the internet to buy mine.....the sales person isn't too worried about commission that way.
