I saw the picture of the UK Suzuka Blue with Red Seats and thought that might be a cool change for my car. How much would it cost to get the 02 Red Seats?

I had my stolen so I know they are about 5500.00 just for the seats. Maybe you can just get the leather covers, I believe they are sold seperately.

 

yup, I had mine stolen too. They come in approximately 40 pieces and run about $7400 bucks for the pieces in a pair. No, I didn't pay that for them, I got ripped again by buying my seats back and the cops nor insurance wouldn't do a damn thing about it. Don't get me started... ugh.

Just get the skins from any red S2000 seat as a direct replacement. Never know, someone might want your blue seats in a black S and you can trade outright.

 

if your seats are stolen, since most cars here dont have hard tops i assume, insurance has to cover that. And from my underatanding it will be comprehensive coverage, so depneding on your deductible you will have to pay certain amount that you agreed when you signed up for a policy. Since seats run 5500-7400 according to this post at the dealer that isnt good enough to total the car at all so they have to be repalced with factory items, and insurance must pay for it as long as you dont liability or something. But most people here finance cars anyways and i'm sure honda will not even let you buy a car without having a good insurance policy that will have you covered from all angles.

Is this a common problem? getting seats stolen? that totally sucks.. i'm about to buy an s2k and really donty want to have any sort of theft problems.. thats the main reason why i'm thinking of getting it. Because the black market on this car isnt nearly as big as the one with lower model hondas/acuras.

Also, how much do used S2K seats sell for? My friend wants to buy one out of the s2k i get and he wants to know how much i will charge him. Anyone have any idea? they will be brand new btw.
