Newest year with the least miles that you can afford. My '07 GPW was 26,000 3 months ago and I think that was a great deal.

 

i hate the gpw w/ black leather. get the 07 since it has red/blk leather.

 

if your credit goes through know that the larger deposite that you can put down the lower they will go. if you tell them that you will put down 10k, i'm sure they would let you have it for 20k

 

Be patient in your negotiations. The dealerships aren't selling cars very well. Also keep in mind convertibles don't sell easily during cold months. Given the economy and season I wouldn't be suprised if they have these cars on their lot for awhile.
Have you tried to find a private seller? They will know more about the car and are easier to deal with. I've talked with many dealerships during my cars searches and always ended buying from a private seller.

only thing different in a 06 and 07 gpw that i know of is the seat, 06 is all black while 07 is black/red. Start your offer at 20k, he'll def ask for more, than just bargain your way down

 

You must be picky or pretty damn poor if you have to try to beat that price.

go to kbb and see what they are offering for a car with that type of mileage and everything. go a couple thousand lower. and work from there.
