I make a point to only drive my S2000 on dry days. Also it's my pleasure vehicle, so it gets only about 2k miles on it a year. The fun facter hasn't diminished one bit because when I do drive it, it feels like an old friend that I haven't seen in a while. The car is beautiful. It handles great. It has classic lines. I believe some day it will be a classic antique car. I only hope I'm a classic antique by then too!

My S2000 is the first car that I've owned to have that special something. Yes I will keep and drive it forever.

I'll drive it for as long as it's competitive in auto-x. That should be for a while though. The S2000s biggest problem (for me) is that it's a convertible. My next car will definitely be a hard top, it's just getting too difficult to find track shools and HPDEs that allow convertibles.

I just bought my 2005 (yellow) S2K two days ago and it has been raining here in Seattle ever since! I'm looking forward to enjoying it once the sun comes out and I can start breaking it in.

As for the poll, I will need to defer until I can give a more informed decision.

I will not sell my S2000, ever. I still own my '90 CRX-Si.
The way I look at it now that it is paid for, why would I sell it?
In fact I'm a little sad I sold my '87 CRX-Si...
I'm sure in 5 to 7 years I'll buy a new track car and retire the S from that kind of use, then I'll have it for a nice weekend convertible.

well, first of all I can think of about 70,000 non specific reasons. More specifically the top down feature is a plus, the tranny is nicer, the ergonomics are better and all replacement parts are cheaper. don't get me wrong the porsche is a superior car but its not that much better and there are features I prefer on the S. Sure the porsche is faster-it will last forever-it brakes are better- it attracts alot more attention, the Gt3 sounds meaner. At the track- if you are fast in a GT3 its obviously because you are in a great car. If you aren't fast its because you suck as a driver because its obviously not the car. I really get a kick out of out driving much faster more expensive cars with my little honda. When i out drive those same cars in my porsche-well, thats just expected. I just cant bring myself to sell the S. So I might just have to keep both!

I would never give her up or sell her by all means!
I always wanted an s2000 for like 4 years or so and recently (4 months to be exact) i purchased one and it has got to be the best feeling I've ever had! with the exceptions of other awesome sensations in life

It may outlive you if you only put 2K miles on it a year. Why did you buy it?
