It may outlive you if you only put 2K miles on it a year. Why did you buy it?
I live in Rhode Island. The weather here downright sucks for at least six months out of the year. The weakend weather so far has been cold and/or rainy since April. I have an Accord for my daily driver. The roads in Rhode Island are some of the worst roads I've ever driven on, and I've driven many roads out of state. That kills a lot of incentive to take my nice S2000 out for a spin. Like I stated in my last post, I have other interests besides "the car", so why not enjoy it only when the weather permits the ultimate top down experience.

I love my S and is a dream come true to finally get one and perfect one at that, but there comes a time when a change can not be helped. I do not see that time coming anytime soon, but I am sure that it will come and when it does I see an NSX, elise or 993 3.6 Turbo in my future! If the budget and space is availiable the S will stay with its future stable mates.

Forever? Don't think so. Maybe 2 years. Then its a Boxter S for me. s2k can't touch it.
Yeah well, if the S had 2 more cylinders the Porsche wouldnt touch the S!

Coincidentally, my cousin owns a Boxster. After driving my S, he says he shouldve bought a S. I had to agree with him there.

Oh, and to answer your question Thomas, YES ! Though id probably get a new or Newer S
