Default How much do you pay for your insurance on S2000?

My friend are arguing about that I can't get a S2000. I think I can get enough money by next year and get my self a brand new 2002 S2000. But this kid who owns a 2001 Civic, Automatic -_-;; thinks that I can't get one. He keeps on saying blah blah insurance blah blah 450 per month. I know the insurance would be high but I want to know how much you guys are paying for it. Hopefully I can S2000 by next year. Oh yeah I am 19 no accidents or tickets plus I will be going under my dad's insurance.
Thanks

It shouldn't be too much.

I live in the #1 car thief city in the US, Jersey City, NJ. I have 6 points on my license and I pay $2000 per year for full coverage with $1000 ductible.

It's not too bad compared to what I used to pay before.......

Yes, very true, I'm 19 and I'll be buying a s2000 next year. A lot of the people I know are like "yeah, sure..." So I don't talkabout it until I actually get it, eventually they'll know better when you actually get it next year. So you can do this to them when they get it . I'm not really worried about ins. since my parents are paying for that part, but honestly I actually earned my down payment and I'll be paying for the monthly payments. It took me 3 years to save up for this car!!! Sorry, I know this doesn't answer your question but I just wanted you to know that I'm in that position also. See ya around!

I'm 24 with a clean record and pay 200 a month with American Family Ins. I was paying 300 a month with Geico.

1 ticket and $65/month full coverage on a 01' S2000. I have 3 other vehicles insured through State Farm plus life and my home too. I am sure that plays a role. I am 27

About $94 a month for full-coverage...I also just turned 22, but have had no tickets or wrecks either.

you know these numbers are practically useless, right?

unless you get info from someone in your area, with a similar age/record, these figures are meaningless to you.
