The only good thing to come from age is cheep auto insurance, I have no tickets, I am 39, and this is car # 4 on the policy. For Full coverage, 100,300,100, and a $100 deductible, in the Ventura county area, which is West of L.A., California, I pay an extra $194 every six months. Sometimes age is a good thing.

I'm 27 and pay around $700 per year ($348 every 6 mos) for my S2K, no tickets or accidents through Nationwide. That figure includes a multi-car discount also and probably a discount for my homeowner's insurance. Ohh, the deductible is $250

I was paying around $1,050 per year through GEICO

I'm 17 and pay $430 every 6 months. It's under my Dad's name I'm a "secondary" driver. I think he's driven it 4 or 5 times. Good Luck, you should go for it. Oh, no tickets or accidents. Brandon

you can get quotes from comapanies over the phone or online and that will give youi the best idea of what YOU will be paying. I am 25 an pay 266/month with state farm. I have 2 tickets. Progressive wanted over 500/month and Aig had me at 310/month. So it pays to shop around and find the best price for your coverage. You can also take defensive driving to bring the cost down and add passive (activates on it's own) anti-theft devices. Good luck.

Like Matt said.

Unless you're comparing numbers from people of a similar age and accident rate IN YOUR AREA this is a pointless discussion.

Insurance prices differ dramatically from state to state, people can brag all they want here about how little or much they're paying but it's useless information unless you live in the same place.

With one speeding ticket in last three years, I pay $347 annually for full coverage on my S2000 without collision. Before the ticket I paid $189 a year without collision and a $100 deductible on comprehensive. An AARP policy with the Hartford. There are a few advantages to being older, but not many.

Since my wife decided to use her 4x4 bumper to peel the bumper of another car off , I've recently had the opportunity to review my policy & premium. On my S2000, I pay $315 per 6 mo...so $630/year. Not too bad I reckon...

I checked with my insurance today(American Family) about my insurance and they quoted me $98. I will be taking delivery on my Blue S2k either today(hopefully) or Monday. I am 30 with no tickets or wrecks in the past 7 years. I also have my Escalade and house with them as well so this is probally a factor in the quote. Check around, I am sure you can find someone who will insure your car for the range you are looking for. Oh yeah this is for a $250 deductable.
