How much do you spend on your car per year (to keep it running)?

I'm considering getting in S in late summer, and I am wondering how much its really going to cost. I'm not talking about gas and I'm not talking about mods, but things like oil changes, tires, etc. that you have to do to keep the car running? I have heard a lot of talk about people only getting 5-10K miles on a set of tires. Is that normal?? Are there other tires that might get better wear? I can afford the car, and I can work off the insurance at about $2K/yr, but how much more will I have to spend to keep the thing running? It would be my daily driver as well, so it would get some mileage on it (I'll be in Austin so its a fair weather area). Thanks for the help!

I have had my car for almost exactly 1 year. Here are my costs after 16K miles:

5 oil changes X $11 = $55 (oil, oil filter, new crush washer)
1 new set of S02s at 9500mi = $800 (including installation; these have ~2K miles left...I had 4 or 5 track days on the old tires)
1 set of S02s purchased with Regamaster wheels = ~$400 (3-4K miles left)
1 cabin airfilter = $19
2 air filters = $40
Shin-etsu grease for seals = $9 (that tube will last longer than the car)
Zaino Polishes = $80 (including some that I haven't opened yet...they will last another year)
Various cleaning supplies = $55 (Plexis, absorber towels, leather cleaner, etc.)
----------------------------------------------
Total: $1460, mostly for tires because I have done so many track days. I still have about 5K miles left on them. Most owners probably spend less than $1000 per year.

should be no more than $400 even not need to replace the tire that year.

I don't drive much though...
