Had an s2000 for 10 months. ZERO problems, and now that i've started auto-x'ing i'm gonna have to give the car like a 100 on the richter scale.

 

I've now had my 02 S2000 for nine months, and if the starting point when I picked up the car is a 10. Then the current level is now 14 and still improving. I've had no problems, and in my case my dealer Honda Village in Greensbug Pa. has provided outstanding service. They even picked up the tab to repair when I removed the black tape around the windshield and found scratches. Every day I learn more about the way it handles, and that allows me the opportunity to enjoy the car more and more .

 

1yr 2mo of ownership, 17k miles.

i would give the car a 10, but after factoring in the terrible service, and honda's unwillingness to assist loyal customers (my 12th honda product), i'll have to give the s2000 a 5.

i can honestly say that i will never, ever, EVAR buy a honda again, nor will anyone in my family, and i will try my damn hardest to convince friends who are considering purchasing a new car to look elsewhere.

f u honda, you make a great car, but you have no idea how to treat customers.

 

'02, about 2 years now, with about 23000 miles.

fun car.
good car.
cool car.
still looks better than other cars in the similar price range (imo).
has been pretty reliable. (so much better than my old z3.)

still in perfect shape,
clean clean clean interior,
perfect plastic rear window.

but, just because of poor service and lack of professionalism of about 5 honda dealers
i've tried,

i wanna give this car about 6.

I've had mine since 9/99 (10th one delivered in Houston), use it as a daily driver, have run numerous autocrosses, have tracked it 3 times at TWS, have never had any problems, get great service from John Eagle Honda, have owned lots of GREAT cars including many great sports cars and love my S2000 more now than when I first got it.

I give it a 40 out of 10!

Had my car since Oct '99 and have about 31,000 miles on it. I guess I've had good luck with service. Weseloh in San Juan Capistrano did most of it and since moving to Vermont, I've had good luck with Automaster. I've had the TSB on clutch replacement done twice, even though each time, the noise was minimal. The 1-2 grind TSB was done, even though I almost never got the grind. Back window looks great with necessary TLC. Minor gripes are the windshield has pitted too easily and I'm getting that musty smell from the air vents.

Rating = 9.9

 

i would say in the 2 years that I had it overall an 8.

After just over a year and 16,500 miles, I give my S a 9 out of 10. The other 1 out of 10 goes to Honda service.

 

6 months old, so far a 9.9...drivers window just started acting up.
