How much do you still like your S2K?
2001, bought 11/13/2001. No MAJOR prob's yet. Love the car, but, I would rate it 8 of 10. Honda's are supphosed to be virtually problem free...questionable integrety ie; rattles, noises, windshield noises etc... Minor stuff.
Bought the car in February of 2000. Have nearly 20k miles on it and it serves as my daily driver. The only issue I had was a faulty TB sensor that was taken care of promptly by my local dealer. Knock on wood, no other issues outside of the recalls offered up on all S2000s (spark plug, seatbelt, boot cover, etc). The improvements they have made to successive makes of the vehicle, show Honda has been listening (better radio, speakers, glass rear window, etc.) I still give the car a 10 out of 10.
Someone asked if the car should have been an Acura. This question has been beaten to death on this board over the years. The bottom line is they could not because it was a Honda anniversary car. However, I certainly would have preferred it to be an Acura due to better warranty, service, and sales.

I've had the car for 6 months now, have had a few problems but nothing that would lead me to give it less than a 10. So far my dealership has been good for service...we will see how that continues....
I've owned my Spa Yellow 01 since January 02, 12k trouble free miles. I'd rate it a 10. Love it, have no plans of getting rid of it. After reading some comments regarding service problems on this thread however it makes my wonder if Honda would have been better off marketing the S2000 as an ACURA.
why are there so many threads on should i buy one, how do you like the S2000 and do you regret buying it?
man!
oh, why do people say they are dissapointed w/honda service for a car they paid 32k for! the sticker is 32840 for an 02 and i'm sure most of us paid "dealer fees" tax, tag and crap. mine sure didnt come out to 32k... so for a near 40k car, HONDA GIVE SH*T SERVICE.
sure, they treat us like we bought a BICYCLE from them!
