Coming from a 6 cylinder, I'm disappointed. I knew a 4 banger would be louder, harsher and less melodious, but I'm just not feeling the car. There's a serious torque deficiency in the 4-6k range, and the car is geared too high. The stereo sucks ass, and I'm not enjoying the convertible aspect as much as I thought I would. The steering feel is really not very good at all.

I knew most of these issues before I bought the car, but I still bought the car hoping they would work themselves out. They haven't, and I'm looking at a 350Z tomorrow. I'll probably trade in the spring. I'm kind of disappointed in myself, but I am failing to love this car like my last one.

I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Yves, you did say it better. I've driven ALL kinds of cars too and this car may not be the fastest but it sure as hell is quick enough to put most cars to shame and out-handles cars twice its price. The way it sounds, handles and makes you feel is what keeps me intrigued every time I slide in and close the door.

Man, you've driven a Super Seven?! You lucky b*stard

Caterham Super Seven with an Audi motor?

Great chassis. I have yet to drive one of those but it will happen sooner or later.

I have had mine a year and a half and am upto 24000 miles and not one problem yet. I had the sparkplug recall done 2 weeks ago and there was great service here in Hawaii. I do all the fluids myself so I know its getting done right and is changed with the best possible product. The S2000 was always my second favorite car next to the NSX. It still is. Car only has one small dent on the exterior. Other than that, it was well worth it.
