I haven't had any payments for three years and insurance is cheap. Moving out of CA cut my insurance cost in half.

Car was paid with cash (this is a highly depreciative asset; how else would you handle it?)
Full Coverage Insurance $500/$500 with Wawanesa is only $70/month in expensive Silicon Valley. Early 30's with no accidents and tickets for 7+years.
If you are getting better rates in the Bay Area, please let me know. Otherwise, you live in hickville and of course you are paying less.

Wow, I thought mine was bad..some people are paying outrageous amounts just for their car...
275/mnth for car and 180 for full coverage through USAA.
