why?

because that's the reasonable thing to do.
because there's no reason to not do it.
because it may prevent a potential headache down the road when the buyer is p.o.'d and wants to "work something out"

It was about $2600 with the hardware, ordering from Ganley Honda as already mentioned.

It looks like that price has dropped.
