Default How much is the Hardtop and Spoiler option?

I have called around to about 8 different dealerships in the Houston area and everyone keeps giving me a different number for these options. The best offer I have received for the hardtop is $2500 installed and the spoiler is $600 installed. Do these prices seem fair to all of you? What did you pay for yours? Thanks.

I think that 600 for the spoiler is not worth it. 2500 installed for the hardtop seems like a decent/good price. There's a group buy on the spoiler from HandA accesories in the group buy forum. You should check it out.

Well the Hardtop installed for 2500, is a good deal. HandA accessories has the Hardtop for $2299 - 2790.00 plus shipping is roughly 250 (depends on color, and Model year), so 2500 installed seams more then far. Considering that from HandA you have to install it, or pay some to do it.
As for the spoiler, $600 seams a little high, the installation is to drill two holes in the trunk and screw it down (Installation Details ), and since HandA has it for $346.80, you might install it your self.

IMHO

I think he is still shopping for the car, and these are add-ons to the sale. I don't think we (owners) have a shot of getting this price.

There was somebody selling the factory hard top on ebay. By the was it looked, it must be a dealer (or somebody affiliated with one).

The opening bid was $1800, currently $2000 (reserve met). I don't know if you can just email them and get that price.

Keep in mind MSRP for the hardtop is $2,995 and Honda has a $500 rebate on it now. So Anybody can get it for $2,495 if they ask and pressure the Salesperson/parts person to call Honda and verify the $500 rebate.

If the dealer does the installation, they will cover it under the warrantee on the car. If they do not do the install, it is not covered.

I was told that the 3-year car warranty would cover the top if purchased with the car. If purchased later, only a one year warranty applied.

Don't forget to check out HondA-Accessories.com on the sponser site. I just installed the hardtop that I purchased from them. They are currently selling the MY2000-2001 hardtop for 2299.00 plus shipping.
