How much have you spent on repairs?
The S2000 is regarded as a reliable sports car ... Wanted to get an idea of how much people have spent on repairs out of pocket over the years. Don't include repairs that were covered by insurance or warranty.
Had the S for nearly 2 years now and I've replaced the clutch master cylinder for $300.

Very reliable car and cheap to run (except perhaps insurance as I live in greater London)
replaced clutch which cost £1500, rest of the time general servicing.
very pleased with the running costs but my millage is low 03 plate with 42K miles

Numbers could have been even better if most were original owners, car enthusiasts, or if everyone drove the S2000 as if it were a normal car, most don't. Considering this, it is pretty darn reliable!

What should be included in the total for "repairs"?
Replacing tires and brakes (and arguably even the clutch) are expected wear items... I am safe in assuming that this does not include service maintenance and oil changes...
Or are we just simply talking about what was spent on unexpected stuff that speaks to the overall reliability of the car? As an example, even though body work (fixing dings and dents) is technically a "repair", it doesn't really speak to the reliability of the car (though if the body work was caused by bad original paint, then I would include it)...

Zero on mechanical related issues, other than oil and tire changes.

I've owned my S2000 for 6 1/2 years. I've spent zero dollars on repairs.
I have spent on tires, oil changes, diff fluid, and tranny fluid changes that are part of maintenance.
I'd say this car is pretty reliable.
