how much labor $ is enough for coil- over install?

I paid $200. One shop gave me an estimate of more than $600 for the job. I peeled out of that place so quickly after they said that...

swapping in coil overs is supper easy. just have fun with the rear drivers side

It is easy man... I did it on my friend's s in under 3 hours, first time. Just be sure to preload the bushings correctly, use a torque wrench if possible, and be patient with the driver's rear assembly install, as you need to loosen the fuel tank filler neck and fight for room back there.

What spring compressor do you guys use? I haven't found a good one yet that fits well. I improvised with some ratcheting tie down straps last time. It worked, but made me a little nervous.

My $0.02, take the ABS sensors off the front A-arms to prevent damaging them.

it's pretty easy - I'd say it's 2-3 hours for a shop to do it.

be sure to torque everything down when suspension is preloaded.

Another tip is to raise up the fronts at one time. Also take both sides of the stock struts out before putting in one of the coilovers.
