how much labor $ is enough for coil- over install?

It is easy man... I did it on my friend's s in under 3 hours, first time. Just be sure to preload the bushings correctly, use a torque wrench if possible, and be patient with the driver's rear assembly install, as you need to loosen the fuel tank filler neck and fight for room back there.

What spring compressor do you guys use? I haven't found a good one yet that fits well. I improvised with some ratcheting tie down straps last time. It worked, but made me a little nervous.

it's pretty easy - I'd say it's 2-3 hours for a shop to do it.
be sure to torque everything down when suspension is preloaded.
Another tip is to raise up the fronts at one time. Also take both sides of the stock struts out before putting in one of the coilovers.
