How much is my AP1 worth?
I've recently been toying with the idea of selling my AP1 and moving into an AP2 ... for various reasons. Mainly, bigger engine, better suspension setup, nice interior upgrades, and I like the front end better. Here's the deal w/ my car:
2002 AP1
~40k miles, second owner
All services done at dealership, my car is very well taken care of
Mods (current):
Espelir springs
K&N filter
JDM side markers
Shaved front and side emblems
(waiting to be installed)
Mugen cooling mod set (fan switch, thermo, radiator cap)
Samco radiator hoses
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Some carbon fiber dress up for the engine
18" Volk Ce28ns w/ Volk CF centercaps, Continental tires
So the big question -- how much do you think it's worth? I am still making payments on the car, and I don't know off the top of my head what I need to get out of it to pay it off, but I think I'm about even on the payments. I guess I'll see -- opinions?

The only pics I have of my are either (1) at night, so hard to see what's going on, or (2) with my old set of Blitz Type 01 wheels on, which would be misleading.
I don't really see how pictures would help anyway -- my car looks like a very clean, lowered, otherwise stock S2000.

Use Kelly Blue Book. You put in all of your options, year, condition, where you live(zip code), and if its private or a dealer. Its a great website. It won't calculate aftermarket mods though.

Pictures would help a lot. But I don't think you should sell your AP1 for an AP2, especially if the car is not paid off yet.
unless u can break even or make money on the deal,
good luck

Wow S2K values have really gone down. I checked the value of mine on KBB and it was about 3K less than I thought it would be.
