evos are definitely cheaper to paint. i'm not even sure that S's CAN be painted. i know that it absolutely positively reduces the relaibility of the entire car.

I think you'll end up paying around $3,000.00 for a quality paint job. That should include all the door jambs and under the hood.

Hey, what year and color S2000 did you get? Also, what has happened to make you want to repaint the car? Just curious. Also, I believe that $3000 is about right. Of course that cost can vary from place to place. Anything under $2500 would be fishy.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to go too cheap. But why would it be so expensive? There's less surface! (:

He does not own an S2000 yet, you can find a history of his previous posts so you can get an idea what kind of grounds you are walking on.

$3,000 is the right amount for a good job. Otherwise you can spend $500 at one day paint and body

nah i dont have one yet but i want a red s2k with red and black seats and i figured it would be cheaper to get a silverstone with red and black interiorand get a paintjob than getting a red s2k with black interior and getting red and black seats. i heard each one of those seats are over 3g's.

Ok V8 Killer. I hope that you find the car that you're looking for. If I were you, I would probably just get a Civic. Cheaper insurance, cheaper to repair, less expensive to buy, a lot of mods avaliable, back seat and trunk space for moving around when you're in college, etc.

If you get an S2000 you won't have the time to baby it like it will need while you're in school. Wait until you graduate to get a car like the S2000. Unless your parents are just totally loaded and have $800 to give you for tires and stuff like that.
