Default how much is this s2k really worth?

I am looking to buy a 2001 s2000 with these parts on it....
1. An Amuse R1 front bumper
2. KW v3 Coilovers
3. HKS Catback exhaust
4. Invidia Test Pipe
5. AEM v2 CAI
6. BYS Rear Spoiler
7. ARC Titanium shift knob
8. ARC Titanium cooling plate
9. Work VS-XX wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis Rt-615's
The car has only about 25,000 miles on it and the kid wants $23k for it. How much do you guys think it is really worth?

I think it comes down to what is it worth to you to have these mods.
Two nights ago a local dealer was selling a 2001 with 50k for $15.9k.
I think I'd add a little for the wheels and the suspension but the rest really adds little or nothing to the value IMO.
I think it's too much money.

Yea......the only way he will sell that at that price is if he finds someone willing to add the price of mods to the price of the car. Thats typically not the case

You can get an 04/05 with those miles for that price!.....

no deal

That might be what he has into the car, but far from what he will get for it.

He is about $6,000 too high on that car. He probably think's it's worth that, and maybe it is to him. But, you never know there's a sucker born every minute im told.

Think of the value of this car as you would the value of any 01, and then add what you would pay for those parts used. That is the value of the car.

the only things that would add value to the resale of this car is the low miles and the wheels.

Even with outstanding condition and 25,000 miles, Edmunds says around 15,000 (in my zipcode, but should be close for you). So, with all the parts (exhaust, suspension wheels and tires), I would not offer more than 16,500. Just my humble opinion. Make sure you take the car to a known mechanic for a thorough checkup too.

Mods do not add monetary value to a car, but rather decreases it.
