There are two rules you should always stick with when buying used Sports Cars. They have served me well over the years. Never buy a modded car and never buy a sports car from someone under 35. You are breaking both rules. Walk away. The values on these type cars are dropping like a stone. You will find something better!

On Autotrader I saw a couple of 00-01 with 50-60k miles that were asking like 18k private party and those cars were stock or close to it. Are people being too optimistic with the "convertible price jump in spring" expectation or what?
