actually when i went to Honda for my 45 k tuneup.. they told me all i needed was a minor service..Intermediate service is SUPPOSED to be done at 30k.. so if your car has already had the intermediate service.. i would go with the minor service.. will save you $$$. theres a place in simi valley called 1st honda that will do it for 79.95 with their online coupon.. 1sthonda.com

The 45K mile service is a fairly extensive list of "inspections", which the average owner can do at home. The only "real" service is an air filter change (if needed upon inspection) and fluid changes (engine oil, tranny and rear diff) which may or may not be required depending upon the catagory of maintenance your car exists under. Regardless, however, do the engine oil and filter and the rear diff fluid, making sure the dealer knows what the heck to put in there as many put the wrong stuff in.

And after the diff goes the dealership blames it on you somehow. No dealership will see my future S2K after the PDI.

I swore off stealerships the day that I caught one of LANCASTER HONDA'S so-called mechanics joyriding/thrashing my S.
