Default How much would u pay for this s2k?

i was wondering what would be a good price to pay for this? Its a 2000 honda s2000 slverstone on black with the following mods: Apexi N1 Racing Muffler, Custom 3inch piping, RC 440 injectors, AEM ECU, Turbonetics Turbo kit, Front Mount intercooler, oil filter relocation kit, Stage 3 clutch kit, walbro fuel pump. \

*the car has 65,xxx miles and has had 3 previous owners, in decent condition not the best*

FWIW, I tried selling mine recently, a slightly different situation, but should certainly give a point of reference.

It's a 2001, 72,000 miles (at the time), and supercharged with additional supporting mods, 3 owners. I kept lowering the price, ended up at $18,000. I had a couple people talk to me, but no serious interest. I finally decided it was worth more to me than anyone else and I kept it. I'm guessing I'd have to go to $16,000 or so before I started generating any real interest.

Once a FI car passes 50,000 miles or so people are scared to buy it, demand goes to nothing, and market value takes a dive.

I wouldn't pay a dime more than I would for a 100% stock car in identical condition.. mods don't add value. If anything, they decrease value unless its a show quality car with virtually no miles on the parts or some insane custom beast.

He's right. In the open market the mods add no value. To the right buyer maybe they do. I think you should offer him fair market value for the car stock + a little bit (no more than $1000) for the mods.
