Default How Not To Remove Your Bumper

Last night I was stopped for a light. Unfortunately a new SL did not. He was talking on his cell phone and not paying attention that traffic had stopped. It pushed me into a new M5. I felt like the cheap filling in an expensive sandwich. Car is at the body shop. Just concerned with the frame. The top would not latch without being pushed to the right. No airbag deployment but, from what I have read on other rear end accidents that is normal.

OUCH. I assume you're OK... My accident on my 01 Spa was similar, I was rear ended by an old GMC Jimmy going about 40 at the point of impact. My damage looked similar but my frame was bent. $14K in repairs, then the car was sandwiched while in the body shop adding another $12K to the bill. Eventually, every panel, except the doors, were new and the entire rear end was replaced and the whole car repainted. Repairs took almost 3 months. The day I got "humpty dumpty" back I took it to the dealer immediately and traded it in and ordered by 02 GP White.

Sorry to see this... good luck!

Must be open season on S2000's! I was just rear ended last week!

Good to hear that you are okay though...the car can be fixed...
