wirejock. What do you mean by you never wipe her off? You mean you don't dry your car?
I think you should first treat the waxing of your car as maintenence procedure. Then you treat it as a hobby. That is you definately should wax your car regardless of how you store it, whether it is exposed to the elements etc. 3 months is a good waxing interval. However feel free to wax as many times as you want as it does not hurt your car. It might hurt your health however.
