Step 1: Clean shiftknob. I used the nailpolish remover since it contains alcohol so it would dry quick.
Just be carefull with the nail polish remover as it contains Acetone not alcohol. If you spill or drip Acetone on plastic it will eat it up.

So u think suzuka touch up paint would work?
Something in between Leguna and Suzuka. If you have the Suzuka touchup paint laying around, give it a try and post a final pic! Also, I let the coat sit for 1 minute rather than the 30 seconds I did in the first attempt.Anyway, I Just used my NFR touch up paint and it looks like the red I was going for but the touchup paint isn't as thick as the nailpolish?
S2kSpaYellow: Thanks for the tip.

For the question if using touch up paint would work, I'm sure it would but it might be hard removing the excess paint. Maybe the nail polish remover would get rid of it just as easy?
Great write-up
And for those who plan on ordering Rick's engraved Voodoo knobs, the knobs come wrapped with a silicone-like rubber piece with the engraved area exposed ready to be painted. Simply paint over the numbers and peel off the rubber peice off.
