I did this to my knob after reading this thread. I used "electric blue". It looks great!

is there still red fade next to 2 and 4 on ur shift knob or did u get tht out?

If by red fade you mean it wasn't filled right, yes I did fix it today. I added another coat and paid close to attention to the the edges.

I photoshopped this up real quick. I don't have a pic of a shift knob showing off the Suzuka blue interior to get a better idea, otherwise I would have done that.

I haven't put it in my car yet, but so far it doesn't look great. The color isn't pronounced enough. We'll see in the morning.

...and I don't have a camera.

Yellow and red would stand out more, so far, blue isn't cutting it.
